HD808 is the ultimate HD 1080p high magnification optical zoom digital microscope with internal coaxial port to accommodate for coaxial lighting required applications. The manual focus system features a Japanese-made optical tube with 12:1 zoom ratio that provides 0.83x to 10x optical magnification. Various objective lenses options can be configured with the optical tube for a possible total magnification range of 40x to 6668x, and possible diagonal field of view range of 0.6 inches to 0.004 inches (15.24mm to 0.09mm) at long possible working distance range of 1.77 inches (45mm) to 0.28 inches (7.1mm). If needed, the optional 2x rear coupler can also be used on the system to halve the magnification range (doubling field of view size) while maintaining working distance requirements; lowest magnification achievable is 20x on the system.
The digital microscope delivers great image quality at 60 frames per second for inspection and real time viewing. The camera has HDMI output to connect directly to an HD monitor. 6 MP resolution images (3264×1836) and HD 1080p motion video can be saved directly to the SD card without computer connection for later documentation, training and discussions with other colleagues. The camera also has built-in measurement software that allows measurements, image capturing and camera settings to be adjusted with USB-connected mouse to camera, and without requiring a computer. HD808 can also have direct connection to computer via USB output for full PC-side camera and video measurement operation.
The optical zoom digital microscope can be equipped with various stand options, including stand with transmitted light and graduated mechanical stage, stand with fine focus block, and heavy base stand with fine focus block. Depending on stand option, viewing angle can also be adjusted from top-down viewing to oblique side viewing. If benchtop space is limited, a 12” Retina display monitor may be a great option to mount onto the camera body to save on monitor footprint. A motorized version of the optical tube is also available upon quote request for applications requiring motorized zoom adjustments. While the system includes 3W high intensity LED lighting with controller for the coaxial lighting port, other lighting options, such as LED ring light, dual arm fiber light guide, polarizer lighting and fluorescent/halogen lighting are also available. The HD808 optical zoom digital microscope offers excellent video measurement capabilities, including: freehand lines, rectangles, polygons, circles, bicircles, angles, point-line distance and much more. In addition to measuring point-line distances, angles, the software can also measure perimeter and area of enclosed shapes (i.e. rectangles, polygon, and circles). The integrated measurement software’s calibration saves and ability to export data in Excel or text files for further analysis on the computer enables the measurement process to be convenient and straightforward.
