The HDAF800 HD auto focus microscope is a digital microscope inspection system that delivers full HD 1080p image quality, color reproduction, contrast and resolution. Designed with either a VESA mount in 2 different horizontal arm lengths or as a tabletop unit, the HDAF800 can be mounted in a variety of ways to accommodate for each application’s benchtop footprint requirements. The VESA-mount system comes standard with the 5+ lens for field of view range of 0.3” to 9.1” (down to 0.2” digitally) at working distance range of 6.7” to 7.9”. The tabletop version will come standard with the 4+ lens to provide field of view range of 0.4” to 11” at working distance range of 8.1” to 9.8”. If needed, other lens options are also available to accommodate a wide field of view/magnification range and provide consistent, accurate and detailed inspections.
The HD auto focus microscope is programmed to call up real-time on-screen dimensioning to provide integrated XY grids and cursors for on-the-spot measurements (optional keypad controller is required to activate measurement grids and functions). Image captures can be saved directly to the included USB drive for easy documentation and traceability in quality control applications. All camera settings can be adjusted through the buttons found on the camera head. If system is used with the optional keypad controller, then all measurement and camera features can be controlled with the keypad instead of buttons on camera head. The HDAF800 is designed to fully function as an independent inspection unit without requiring a computer connection.
The versatility of the different mounting methods paired with the different stand options available aid in maximum reduction in operator fatigue to improve production efficiencies. In addition to the different lens options available, the HDAF800 can be configured with different lighting options, such as an external 8-point LED ring light, polarizer, dome light, gooseneck lighting, and UV ring light to supplement the system’s integrated LED illumination. XY movement stages, XY measurement stages and other stages can be paired with the system as needed.
