The HD803 is the best motorized 3D viewing microscope for applications requiring rotational side profile viewing inspections. The system is standardly configured with the 45° angle adapter, which allows user to inspect components at a 45° oblique angle, and also rotate around the center axis to view component from all sides without having to move or tilt the part itself. The speed and direction of the motorized rotation are controlled using the controller box for an automated inspection experience. Angled adapters in 25°, 35°, and 55° are available upon request.
The manual focus microscope features state-of-the-art high definition digital camera technology to full HD 1080p resolution imaging and full motion video at 60 frames per second with no lag time. The microscope camera has HDMI output for direct connection to a monitor and SD card for direct image and video capture without requiring computer connection. Still images are saved in 6 MP (3264×1836) and video recordings are saved in HD 1080p motion video. Integrated measurement software is also included for full measurement functionality with easy USB mouse control. If needed, USB output is also available for direct connection to a computer for PC-side image processing and video measurement application.
The motorized 3D viewing microscope provides diagonal field of view range of 0.72” to 0.10” (18.5mm to 2.7mm). When being used at straight viewing angle (without adapter installed), the microscope has a working distance of 3.5” (90mm); HD803’s working distance is reduced to 0.98” (25mm) when the 45 degree angle adapter is used. This digital microscope also comes in a variant model HD803h, which will have half the field of view size range of the HD803 at 0.36” to 0.05” (9.2mm to 1.3mm) while maintaining working distances. If needed, the optional 2x rear coupler can be used to double the magnification range on either model variants and halve the field of view range. The smallest possible field of view on the motorized 3D viewing microscope is 0.025” (0.65mm).
The microscope lens has detent click stops that help in repeatability for video measurement applications, and offers uniform lighting with included adjustable LED ring light for high image quality with good depth of field. The HD803 can be configured with various stand options, such as basic stand, universal boom stand, and dual sliding arm stand. Other lighting and XY measurement stage accessories are also available for further customizations. The system is suitable for production, QA and FA inspection, training, real time viewing, and documentation applications.

The HD803 has advanced built-in measurement functionality, including: freehand lines, rectangles, polygons, circles, bicircles, angles, point-line distance and much more. In addition to simple point-to-point measurements, the software can also measure perimeter and area of enclosed features, such as rectangles, polygons, and circles. With straightforward calibration and magnification functions, the measurement process is simple and convenient, and can be exported into Excel or text files for further data analysis on the computer.
