4KAF401 is a 4K Ultra HD auto focus digital microscope comprised of cutting edge digital camera technology with SONY sensor to provide 4K Ultra HD resolution motion video with no lag time. The 4K auto focus digital microscope has possible magnification range of 4x-91x on 24″ 4K monitor or 5x-106x on 28″ 4K monitor with up to 12” long working distance and 5.46″ diagonal field of view. The system is ideal for assembly, inspection, training, real-time viewing, image capture and motion video documentation applications.
The 4K auto focus digital microscope can save images directly to a microSD card in jpeg format (3840×2160) as well as built-in measurement software, allowing full operation with HDMI connection to monitor, and without requiring a PC connection. If needed, the 4KAF401 can be directly connected to computer via Gigabit Ethernet port, or USB 3.0 connection. Wi-Fi connection via 5G WLAN adapter connected to USB 3.0 port is also available for additional cost.
The 4KAF401 can be paired with a variety of stands, XY measurement stages, and lighting accessories. The microscope comes standard with adjustable high intensity LED ring light and diffuser glass filter to provide bright uniform lighting while also having the option to reduce glare from highly reflective parts. Polarizer lighting, dual arm goose arm light and other lighting options are also available. XY measurement stages are also a great option to supplement the included measurement software.

| Auto Exposure | When Auto Exposure is checked, the system will automatically adjust exposure time and gain according to the value of exposure compensation |
| Exposure Compensation | Available when Auto Exposure is checked. Slide to left or right to adjust Exposure Compensation according to the current video brightness to achieve proper brightness value |
| Exposure Time | Available when Auto Exposure is unchecked. Slide to left or right to reduce or increase exposure time, adjusting brightness of the video |
| Gain | Adjust Gain to reduce or increase brightness of video. The Noise will be reduced or increased accordingly |
| Red | Slide to left or right to decrease or increase the proportion of Red in RGB on video |
| Green | Green is base for reference and cannot be adjusted |
| Blue | Slide to left or right to decrease or increase the proportion of Blue in RGB on the video |

Image Stitching and Extended Depth of Focus (on PC-side Measurement Software)

When the 4K camera is directly connected to computer, the PC-side measurement software features image stitching as well as extended depth of focus. Image stitching allows multiple images to be pieced together to form one combined image. This is useful for applications that require larger field of view while maintaining detailed image quality. Extended depth of focus allows multiple images to be stacked together so that imaging of an area with components on various planes will be all be in complete focus, creating one superior image with an extended depth of field of this single area.
