MX8000 is the best auto calibration digital microscope, allowing for measurements directly on image seen without needing new calibration or having to choose from a corresponding stored calibration for the appropriate lens setting. The measurement system is calibration-free as long as the same zoom lens and front objective are used. Throughout the wide zoom range (1 : 8.3 ratio), the system will also auto-track the optical magnification and display the video zoom corresponding to the monitor size being used. The system also has advanced edge detection for better precision and repeatability, making measurement as simple as a click.

This manual focus measurement system is connected directly to an HD 1080p monitor via HDMI output, which saves foot print and cost. Images will be saved directly to USB drive. Many measurement tools are available with the MX8000: point to point, vertical line, horizontal line, parallel line width, angle, rectangle area, circle area, circle diameter, circle radius, fan angle, center to center of two circles, concentric circles, angle, odd shape, text annotations. Measurement data can be saved or generated into Excel format. Measurements can be calibrated in different units: mm, um, inch, mil, and annotations can be added in different color and fonts. System can also be configured with other stand types if needed.

The MX8000 auto calibration digital microscope has long working distance range of 1.5 inch to 10.6 inch, providing clearance for production, QC, QA, FA and R&D applications. The system has possible video magnification of 4x to 480x on a 15.6 inch HD monitor, and possible magnification range of 6x to 738x on a 24 inch HD monitor. The MX8000 has diagonal field of view range of 0.8mm to 91.8mm (0.033 inch to 3.61 inch). The microscope includes high intensity LEDs with adjustable dimmer for bright and uniform lighting.

The HD inspection system is available with various microscope stands: articulating arm stand, basic stand, back lighting stand, dual arm ball bearing sliding stand, or universal stand. Articulating arm stands can be customized and mounted using clamps to work bench edge or hard mount to table surface. Viewing angle can be adjusted from top down to oblique side profile, depending on stand chosen. In addition to video measurement software, X-Y measurement stage with cross hair on monitor screen is also a popular option for routine measurement applications. Other lighting options available include internal coaxial lighting (bright field lighting for wafer, die or cross section), polarizer lighting, dual arm fiber light guide and fluorescent lighting. Smart Measurement Tools

Since the MX8000 is precalibrated as factory setting standard, there is no need for recalibration as long as measurements are made under the same zoom lens and front objectives. The software offers smart measurement features, including point to point, vertical line, horizontal line, parallel line width, angle, rectangle area, circle area, circle diameter, circle radius, fan angle, center to center of two circles, concentric circles, angle, odd shape, and text annotations.

Display Magnification Reading

The measurement digital microscope provides reading of the optical magnification (labeled as “Zoom Lens”) as well as total magnification (labeled “Zoom Image”) that you are viewing component at in the right panel of the software window.

Ruler Line and Auto Edge Detection

The MX8000 auto calibration digital microscope allows the ruler line to change and maintain proper scaling while zoom magnification is being adjusted. Furthermore, auto edge detection helps improve measurement precision (sensitivity of the edge detection can be adjusted according to application needs).

Angle Gauge and Arc Measurements

MX8000’s measurement software has an angle ruler and crosshair that allows for quick angle gauge measurements. There is also a specific feature that allows for arc-related measurements (radius, circumference, angle, etc.).

Screenprint Drawings for Irregular Parts

For special irregular parts’ measurements, the measurement software can save screenprint drawing of the part, after which the part can be measured and compared to the drawing for size discrepancies. The MX8000 can also replicate any drawings based on your own design data.
