HDAF205 is the ideal economy auto focus digital microscope with Wi-Fi connection capabilities and is configured with leading digital camera technology to provide Full HD 1080p resolution motion video without lag time. The system comes standard with a 1x front adapter, which will have diagonal field of view range of 0.97” to 0.15” (24.5mm to 3.8mm) at 3.9” (100mm) working distance. Optional 0.5x and 2x front adapters are also available to increase or decrease field of view range, respectively, at their given working distances. With a possible working distance range of 1.8” to 7.5” (46mm to 198mm), the HDAF205 is suitable for assembly, inspection, training, real-time viewing, image capture and motion video documentation. If working distance restraints apply, the optional 0.35x rear coupler can be used to increase magnification/decrease field of view size without changing working distance required by front lens adapter.

The economy auto focus digital microscope can be configured with a 12” HD Retina display monitor for a possible magnification range of 6x to 155x, or possible range of 12x to 320x with a 24” HD monitor. The HDAF205 is designed for completely independent functionality without computer connection. The digital microscope has HDMI output to connect to monitor and SD card to save images and motion videos to. Still images can be saved in 1920×1080 (2 MP) and motion videos can be saved in HD 1080p resolution. The system also comes standard with integrated measurement software, allowing measurements to be done on-screen with a simple click of the mouse. If needed, the camera can use the USB Wi-Fi adapter for a direct wireless connection to a computer for PC-side operation.

The HDAF205 economy auto focus digital microscope can be configured with various stands and accessories. The system comes standard with adjustable high intensity LEDs to provide bright uniform lighting for great picture quality. Other lighting options, such as polarizer lighting and dual arm goose arm lighting, are also available for the HDAF205. The optional laser light pointer accessory can be added to assist in visually locating the inspection area. The auto focus digital microscope has integrated measurement software that allows functions to be easily controlled through mouse connected to USB port. The software’s user interface is shown below, which includes the Camera Control Panel on the left side of the video window, the Measurement Toolbar on the top side, the Synthesis Camera Control Toolbar on the bottom, and the Auto Focus Control Panel on right side of the video window.

The UI is usually hidden away to maximize screen space during inspection and can be easily opened by hovering the mouse to the respective side of the screen. Camera Control Panel pops up when user moves mouse cursor to the left side of the window; Synthesis Camera Control Toolbar pops up when mouse cursor is moved towards bottom of the window.

HDAF200 Auto Focus Digital Microscope Camera with Wi-Fi

The HDAF205 auto focus economy digital microscope is a multiple interfaces (HDMI+WiFi+SD card) CMOS camera with auto-focus function and has ultra-high performance Sony CMOS sensor as the image-picking device. HDMI+WiFi are used as the data transfer interface to HDMI display or computer.

HDMI output uses the integrated YSC-HDMI-Measurement. The Camera Control Panel, Measurement Toolbar, and Synthesis Camera Control Toolbar are overlaid on the HDMI screen when the mouse moves to the corresponding region. A USB mouse can be used to set the camera, browse and compare the captured image, play the video and perform measurements.

For WiFi output to the computer, unplug the mouse from the camera’s USB port and plug in the USB WiFi adapter. Connect the computer Wi-Fi to the camera so that video stream can be transferred to computer with the advanced PC-side software YSC-Measurement. With YSC-Measurement, you can control the camera, process images, and conduct measurements, similar to the capabilities of YSC Technologies’s USB output models.

The HDAF200 series’ basic characteristics are as follows:

• All in 1 C-mount auto focus digital microscope camera with HDMI and Wi-Fi output, and Sony high sensitivity CMOS sensor;

Image Stitching and Extended Depth of Focus

When the auto focus digital microscope camera is directly connected to computer via Wi-Fi connection, the PC-side measurement software includes sophisticated image stitching as well as extended depth of focus features. Image stitching allows multiple images to be pieced together to form one combined image, which is useful applications that require larger field of view while maintaining detailed image quality. Extended depth of focus allows multiple images to be stacked together so that imaging of an area with components on various planes will all be in complete focus, creating one superior image with an extended depth of field of this single area.
