Inspex II is an auto focus calibration tracking digital microscope with integrated image processing and measurement capabilities, and without the hassle of connecting to the computer. The system provides quick live imaging in Full HD 1080p resolution with 60 fps and no lag time. The software has user-friendly interface that is intuitive and easy to use for efficient operation in production and quality control settings. Camera settings and image enhancement functions, such as image stacking, help ensure outstanding image results that can be saved directly to the internal storage or a removable USB drive. In addition to general point-to-point measurement features, the Inspex II’s highlight is the calibration tracking feature, which allows zoom adjustments without needing to recalibrate for measurements.
The auto focus calibration tracking digital microscope comes standard with the 5+ lens for magnification range of 2.5x to 61.3x (or up to 133.1x digitally) on a 24” HD monitor (field of view range of 8.06mm to 231mm) at 200 mm working distance. Other lens options are also available to increase magnification up to 305.5x (or 662.4x digitally). Inspex II has a built in segmented LED ring light to allow effortless and uniform illumination.
While all camera settings and measurement operations can be done through the software interface or the buttons on the camera head, the optional keypad is also available to recall up to 5 preset functions without having to manually select through software settings. Different stands, lens, lighting and stage accessory options are available for specific configuration requirements.

AshCal™ Calibration Tracking Digital Microscope
AshCal™ technology tracks and adjusts to zoom changes, eliminating the need for recalibrations after magnification changes. The Inspex II continually maintains calibration throughout, saving time and increasing efficiency of inspection process.
Image Stacking and Networking (New!)
Inspex II now includes image stacking and networking as standard features with the unit.
Image stacking can automatically capture several images with 2 to 12 different focal depths to create one superior image based on the sharpest regions of each image capture. This provides a sample image with different layers all in focus at the same time without losing image quality.
Networking allows direct saving to the server or cloud to increase workflow efficiency and eliminating the need to transfer data between Inspex II and computer.
On-Screen Presets and Optional Keypad
On-Screen Preset Buttons allow quick access to pre-configured part-specific systems settings and measurement details. This enables simple and efficient operation.
Process can be further improved by adding optional keypad to allow presets to be recalled without having to go through software interface. The keypad aids in standardizing the inspection process by removing operator’s access to settings to reduce possibility of operator error. Up to 5 presets can be added to the keypad.
2-D Line Measurements
2D point-to-point line measurements and annotations can be captured on images for quick referencing. On-screen overlays enable the go/no-go rapid inspection of samples, letting operator rapidly check parts against customized overlays with tolerance limits.
User Access Control
User Privileges offer specific control of system-related operations to ensure standardized inspection. This will ensure operators only have access to the presets and system settings required for their process, removing operational error and accidental changes to be made on presets.
Auto Focus
The Inspex II has interchangeable illumination options and a one-click auto focus on-screen indicator to quickly bring imaging into focus.
Image Capture
The image capture feature has image stamping to include time, date, user and magnification level data for traceability throughout your inspection process. Image capture for easy documentation & traceability for accurate quality control records can be saved directly to internal storage or USB drive. Simply plug your USB drive into the Inspex II USB port.
