HD80W is an excellent wide view digital microscope for applications requiring extra large field of view and long working distance. The manual focus system features a digital camera with exceptional high definition technology to deliver full HD 1080p resolution live video with no lag time. The wide view digital microscope offers possible magnification of 2x-16x on 24″ HD monitor or 1x-8x on 12″ Retina display HD monitor with possible long working distance of 3.3”-25.5” and large field of view range of 1.3” to 12”, which is ideal for assembly, inspection, training, real-time viewing, image capture and motion video documentation. With an optional 2x rear coupler, magnification can be doubled while maintaining working distances, with maximum possible magnification of 32x. The digital microscope has HDMI output for direct connection to monitor and SD card for direct image and motion video capture without having to connect to a computer. Still images can be saved in 3264×1836 (6 mega-pixels) and motion HD video can be captured in 1080p. The camera also has customized built-in measurement software, allowing the system to be a fully functioning standalone unit. USB output is also available for video measurement and image capture application direct to computer, if needed.
The HD80W can be configured with various stands, XY measurement stage, and lighting accessories. An adjustable high intensity LED ring light with diffuser glass (to reduce glare from reflective surfaces) is included to provide bright uniform lighting for great picture quality. Polarizer lighting and dual arm goose arm lighting options are also available as alternative lighting options. The optional laser light pointer accessory is great for locating the inspection area. In addition to the video measurement software, different XY measurement stages can also be used for measurement purposes.

The HD80W wide view digital microscope has a variety of measurement capabilities, including: freehand lines, rectangles, polygons, circles, bicircles, angles, point-line distance and much more. The digital microscope measurement software is also able to measure the perimeter & area of enclosed features (i.e. rectangles, polygons, and circles). With easy calibration and magnification functions, measurements are easy and efficient, and can be exported into Excel or text files.
